What this notice covers
This Cookie Notice explains how North Carolina Fiber Internet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies — such as pixels, tags, and local storage — on texasfiberinternet.com (the “Site”), and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy. This notice is effective as of July 22, 2026.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. “First-party” cookies are set by us; “third-party” cookies are set by our analytics and advertising partners. Pixels (tiny images or code snippets) work alongside cookies to measure page views and ad performance.
Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function — for example, keeping your cart and checkout session, remembering an address you entered for an availability check, security, and load balancing. These cannot be switched off through our consent tools.
Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are visited, how long visits last, and where visitors come from — so we can improve the Site. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
Advertising and retargeting cookies. Set by us and our advertising partners to show you relevant ads for our fiber plans on other websites and social platforms, measure ad performance, and limit how often you see an ad. Under some state privacy laws, this use may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data, and you have the right to opt out.
Analytics
We use web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) that set cookies to collect information about your use of the Site, including your IP address, device information, and pages viewed. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising and retargeting pixels
We may use advertising pixels and tags (such as those from Google Ads and Meta) to build audiences and retarget visitors who have shown interest in our plans. These partners may combine the information collected on our Site with information from other sites to build a profile of your interests. You can learn about and opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
Your choices and consent
Where a cookie consent banner is shown, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set, and change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on the Site. North Carolina and California residents may also opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale”/”sharing” of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.”
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings (typically under Privacy or Security). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Site, such as checkout. Instructions are available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising and the sale/sharing of personal data where required by law. Because there is no industry standard for legacy “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice as our practices or the technologies we use change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
