Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how North Carolina Fiber Internet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit texasfiberinternet.com (the “Site”), check service availability at your address, contact us, or sign up for our fiber internet services (together, the “Services”).

By using the Site or Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. This Policy is effective as of July 22, 2026.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you check availability, request a quote, place an order, take our plan quiz, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, street address, and the contents of any message you send us. If you purchase service, our payment processor collects your payment card details; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of visits. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in our Cookie Notice.

Information from third parties. We may receive serviceability and address-verification data from mapping and geocoding providers to confirm whether fiber service is available at a given address.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Determine whether service is available at your address and respond to your inquiries;
  • Process orders, schedule installations, provide and bill for service, and provide customer support;
  • Send service notices, order confirmations, and — with your consent where required — marketing communications you can opt out of at any time;
  • Analyze Site usage to improve our Site, plans, and marketing;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising (including retargeting). For details on what we use and how to manage your preferences, see our Cookie Notice.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf — such as payment processing, address lookup and geocoding, website hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer-relationship management — under contracts that limit their use of your data;
  • Installation and network partners as needed to build out, install, or service your connection;
  • Advertising partners in connection with cookies and pixels, which may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws (see your rights below);
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, the public, or our business; and
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Your rights under North Carolina law (TDPSA)

The North Carolina Data Privacy and Security Act (“TDPSA”) gives North Carolina residents the following rights over their personal data:

  • Access — confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data;
  • Correction — correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
  • Deletion — request deletion of personal data provided by or obtained about you;
  • Portability — obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format; and
  • Opt out — opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell sensitive personal data. We will not process sensitive personal data (such as precise geolocation, health information, or data revealing racial or ethnic origin) without your consent, as the TDPSA requires.

How to exercise your rights and appeals

To exercise any of the rights above, email us at [email protected] or call 281-602-8076 with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary (we will tell you if so).

If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision within a reasonable time and stating that you wish to appeal. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the North Carolina Attorney General to submit a complaint at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (“CCPA”) gives you similar rights: to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to access, correct, and delete it; to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising via cookies); to limit use of sensitive personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can exercise these rights using the contact details above, or opt out of cookie-based sharing through the controls described in our Cookie Notice. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Visitors from the EU, EEA, or UK (GDPR)

If you visit the Site from the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (responding to inquiries and providing service), legitimate interests (site analytics and security), consent (marketing cookies and communications), and legal obligation. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Note that our Services are provided only in North Carolina; data you submit is processed in the United States.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, for the life of your customer account plus any period required for billing, tax, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. Availability-check addresses and inquiry records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for follow-up and network-planning purposes.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for the purposes of targeted advertising). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide additional notice on the Site or by email.
